Legal
Terms of Use
Last updated: May 19, 2026.
1. Acceptance
By accessing this website, creating an account, joining the portal, or purchasing the whitepaper, you agree to these Terms of Use and to the Legal Disclaimer and Privacy Policy posted on this site. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
2. Nature of the service
The Accountability Claims Initiative is a private educational resource. It is not a law firm, government agency, claims administrator, or settlement administrator, and it does not provide legal advice or representation. Materials are for general educational purposes only.
3. No attorney-client relationship
Nothing on this site, in the portal, in the whitepaper, in any email, or in any other communication creates an attorney-client relationship. An attorney-client relationship arises only through a written engagement letter signed by you and a licensed attorney.
4. No guarantee of outcome
No outcome, payment, review, eligibility, claim acceptance, deadline extension, or government action is promised or implied by use of the site, the portal, or the whitepaper. Eligibility for any current or future relief program will depend on official rules, deadlines, evidence standards, and legal review.
5. Subscriptions and purchases
- Portal access is billed monthly at $9.99 via Stripe and renews automatically.
- You may cancel at any time through the Stripe customer portal; cancellation stops future renewals.
- The whitepaper is a one-time $24.99 digital purchase. Due to the nature of digital products, refunds are not available once the guide has been delivered, except where required by law.
- If a payment fails, access may be suspended after a reasonable retry/grace period.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the site, the portal, or any materials provided. This includes no reverse engineering, no automated scraping, no unauthorized account sharing, no republication of paid materials, and no use that violates law.
7. Submitted information
If you submit information through a contact form, intake form, or similar feature, you represent that the information is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you have the right to share it. Submission does not create legal representation or guarantee that your matter will be reviewed.
8. Intellectual property
All content on the site, in the portal, and in the whitepaper is owned by the Initiative or its licensors. You may not reproduce, redistribute, resell, or sublicense paid materials without written permission.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
The site and materials are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including without limitation warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Initiative will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits or revenues, arising from your use of the site, the portal, or the whitepaper. Direct liability, if any, is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant product in the prior twelve months.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state designated in the final, attorney-reviewed version of this document.
